"Travel With Kids Hawaii: The Big Island," approximately 42 minutes, introduces Jeremy and Carrie Roberts and their sons Nathan, 5, and Seamus, 3, on their Hawaiian adventure traveling from Kona to Hilo, Volcanoes National Park to Waipio Valley. Along the way they visit such wonders as Kilauea, the world's largest active volcano; a sprawling coffee plantation where they learn about the art of coffee farming; Dolphin Quest where the kids swim and play along with dolphins; a farmers market offering the best in Hawaii's rich produce; Parker Ranch where the family tours a real working ranch; Pana'ewa Zoo where a white tiger and animals fascinate the children; a festive luau complete with hula and fire dancers; and a buffet of all the wondrous foods of Hawaii.
In "Travel With Kids Hawaii: The Island of Kauai," approximately 35 minutes, join the Roberts as they learn tales of Polynesian history along the Waimea River; explore Kauai's dramatic terrain along the Napali Coast and Waimea Canyon; discover the road less traveled beyond Hanalei on Kauai's North Shore; visit the Fern Grotto; cruise the Wailua River; and explore the many facets of Hanalei, Kapaa, Poipu Beach, Kee Beach, Hanapepe; and more.
In "Travel With Kids Mexico: The Yucatan," approximately 60 minutes, the Roberts head south of the border on a delightful excursion rich with Mayan heritage, Spanish colonial history and exciting adventures in the Caribbean sun. In Cancun, they learn about turtle conservation in a late night encounter with a green sea turtle and enjoy the tranquil Caribbean. A trip inland provides a lesson in the Yucatan's history at the ancient Mayan cities of Chichen Itza, Coba and Tulum and the Spanish colonial enclave of Merida. Join the family as they explore ancient Mayan caves, underwater rivers, life below the Caribbean, and much more.
Each DVD comes with a slew of special features including chapter selection; a "Plan Your Trip" featurette, which guides families in planning the best, most educational excursions; "Expanded Information" which includes everything from local activities, facts about the destination, highlighted, not-to-miss activities for kids and teens, packing tips, travel products and list of available resources to help with additional planning.
